LOGAN TUCKER BIOGRAPHY

Born in Austin, Texas and the youngest of six, Logan began showing interest in country music at a young age. He was influenced by the likes of Don Williams, Randy Travis, and Merle Haggard to name a few. Logan taught himself to play guitar at the age of thirteen and wrote his first song at the age of sixteen, maintaining his passion for music ever since.
After graduating from high school, he and a group of local musicians formed the Logan Tucker Band, where they played area weddings as well as opened for larger acts in the Texas Country scene. Logan graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas in 2011. Having to give up playing live music for three and a half years, after getting a job in the oil field directly out of college, Logan continued playing guitar and writing songs out on the rig. “Being away from home and friends for months at a time was hard, but the quietness and solitude generated a lot of uninterrupted thought and songwriting for me”, said Logan, referring to six of the ten songs on his first album written in the oil fields.
After receiving the opportunity to compete in Larry Joe Taylor’s 2015 singer/songwriter competition, Logan decided that the oil field wasn’t for him anymore and chose to pursue music full time. With his first full-length album, Reins, releasing in August 2015, the 10-song record (all original) covers a diverse musical ground from the feel good tempo of “Reins” to the revenge heartbreak of “Every Time You Call”. Be watching and listening for this very talented up and coming country artist.
“Every track has a story to tell. Every track is similar but different from the rest. True stories, personal stories, stories that most can relate to or eventually will”.
